  • Bare Kind - The vision at Bare Kind is to accelerate the restoration of a biodiverse planet whilst bringing joy to the everyday. 10% of profits from these socks go to wildlife charities matched up with the animal prints on them. The decline of species on this planet is a growing concern and protecting biodiversity is significant in our fight against climate change. Bare Kind socks are made from bamboo as it grows fast, has high yields and uses less water to grown. The bamboo is ethically sourced in China and the process of turning bamboo fibres is undertaken in a factory that deploys a closed-loop system to reduce chemical waste. Packaging is made from 100% cardboard which can easily be recycled at home and the socks are held in place by a piece of recycled cotton thread. The socks are made at a family -run factory in Istanbul, where ethical and sustainable standards are high – the dyes used are non-toxic, factory workers must be 18 or over and are on fair wages and hours.  Socks are also shipped by lorry rather than plane where possible. The ultimate goal at Bare Kind is to be a company that not only produces high-quality bamboo socks but also operates in a way that prioritises the health and well-being of our planet.
